Others made the decision to stick with just one for financial reasons, which makes a lot of sense to me. You have to remember that. And i am starting to realize that i am okay with the idea of having just one.
And of course “it is so much easier with two because they play with each other.”. I’m 28 and had been trying to get pregnant for nearly 5 years. So, as it seems everyone has now had their babies, i feel i can post this without scaring any ftms 😂 i'm wondering whether anyone feels the same as me.

What made you choose to be one and done? Right now things are pretty hectic and money is tight, we are living with my mother and just so many other reasons why we won't be trying for another kid any time soon. To my fellow parents of only children:
When i tell people i am “one and done” they look at me as if i abused a kitten. I have a 15 month old that i adore, but it's definitely been a struggle to come to terms with her being an only child. My husband and i always planned on having two kids.
